- Juris Doctor from accredited law school
- Active bar admission in good standing
- Eight or more years of in-house or law firm experience with technology transactions
- Extensive experience negotiating SaaS, software, cloud services, and enterprise commercial agreements
- Strong understanding of cloud services, software licensing, information security, and privacy
- Demonstrated skill drafting and negotiating complex software and SaaS agreements
- Ability to balance legal risk against commercial objectives
- Proficiency with AI and legal technology tools, Microsoft O365/Google Workspace, and contract management software
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of data privacy laws in SaaS context
- Understanding of software development, SaaS infrastructure, open-source communities, and intellectual property concepts
- Prior experience at a startup, AI company, digital infrastructure, or high-growth venture business
- Experience supporting AI-enabled products and emerging technology issues
