Eight or more years of in-house or law firm experience with technology transactions
Extensive experience negotiating SaaS, software, cloud services, and enterprise commercial agreements
Strong understanding of cloud services, software licensing, information security, and privacy
Demonstrated skill drafting and negotiating complex software and SaaS agreements
Ability to balance legal risk against commercial objectives
Proficiency with AI and legal technology tools, Microsoft O365/Google Workspace, and contract management software

Nice to have

Basic knowledge of data privacy laws in SaaS context
Understanding of software development, SaaS infrastructure, open-source communities, and intellectual property concepts
Prior experience at a startup, AI company, digital infrastructure, or high-growth venture business
