  • 5+ years developing and deploying real-time navigation and motion planning for autonomous mobile platforms
  • Expertise in 3D/volumetric map representations for local path planning and collision avoidance
  • Deep understanding of locomotion-specific path and motion planning algorithms including sampling-based and optimization-based methods
  • Expert proficiency in modern C++ (C++17/20) for high-performance multithreaded robotics code
  • Experience with ROS/ROS2 and modern optimization libraries for motion planning
  • Proven ability to systematically test and debug systems on physical robots and integrate sensor data into planners

Nice to have

  • Experience training and deploying RL agents for complex locomotion behaviors
  • Hands-on experience implementing MPC or similar optimization-based control for robot locomotion
  • Familiarity with perception pipelines and integration into planning stacks
  • Experience with GPU-accelerated spatial data structures for map updates
  • Strong knowledge of robot kinematics, dynamics, controls, and state estimation
  • Experience with multi-robot coordination and route planning
  • Experience with multi-robot mapping, localization, and map sharing
  • Publications in top-tier robotics conferences (ICRA, RSS, IROS, CoRL)
