Join Supabase to engineer a lightweight, TypeScript-native database platform that runs on SQLite and Postgres, enabling developers to prototype with zero friction and scale to production without switching databases. You'll own large technical areas end-to-end on a small founding team, building API compatibility, developer tooling, and the upgrade path that lets early projects graduate to full Supabase.

Required
- Substantial backend or full-stack experience with strong TypeScript fluency
- Built or contributed to a backend system, framework, or developer platform
- Read unfamiliar code fluently across multiple languages
- Solid grounding in SQL and relational databases
- Bias toward compatibility, correctness, and testing
- Comfortable owning ambiguous, early-stage work and making sound technical calls
- Work in public repositories on a remote async team
- Clear written communication
Nice to have
- Experience with the Supabase stack
- Track record building developer CLIs
- Open-source maintenance experience
- Familiarity with GoTrue or Haskell-based systems like PostgREST
