Required
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of professional work experience
- Mechanical engineering experience in mechanisms, mechatronics, aeronautical, space, automotive, or robotics
- Knowledge of statics, dynamics, structural analysis, fracture control, fatigue, thermal effects, materials, and lubrication
- Product development experience from concept to manufacturing
- Engineering drawing creation and review experience
- Design for manufacturing, qualification, and acceptance testing experience
- Functional management and mentoring experience
- Onsite work at Houston facility
- U.S. export control eligibility
Nice to have
- Master's degree
- Spaceflight hardware design experience
- NASA standards experience
