What they ask for
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent
- 3–6 years of fixture design, tooling engineering, or mechanical design in manufacturing
- Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D modeling and drawing creation
- Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 GD&T
- Understanding of machining, welding, and sheet metal fabrication
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Physical capability for production floor work
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- Experience designing tooling for sheet metal enclosures, structural weldments, or electrical switchgear
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or poka-yoke principles
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Engineer in Training (EIT) credential or progress toward PE licensure
- SolidWorks PDM experience
