XenDesktop (now part of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops) was a Citrix virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) product that allowed organizations to deliver full virtual Windows desktops to end users over a network. IT teams used it to centralize desktop management, enforce security policies, and enable remote work from various devices. It was commonly deployed alongside XenApp for combined application and desktop virtualization.
