XenApp (later rebranded as Citrix Virtual Apps) was a Citrix application virtualization product that let organizations deliver Windows applications remotely to users' devices without installing them locally. IT administrators used it to centralize application management, improve security, and support remote or thin-client workforces. It has since been merged with XenDesktop into the unified Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops product line.
