Xamarin.Forms is a UI toolkit built on top of Xamarin that lets developers create a single, shared user interface codebase in C#/XAML that renders as native controls on iOS, Android, and Windows. It was aimed at teams wanting faster cross-platform development without writing separate UI layers for each operating system. It has since been succeeded by .NET MAUI, Microsoft's evolution of the same concept.
