# System Testing

A level of software testing in which a complete, integrated system is evaluated against its specified requirements to verify it behaves correctly as a whole. It is performed by QA engineers or testers after unit and integration testing, and covers functional, performance, security, and usability aspects before a product is released. Techniques include black-box testing, regression testing, and automated test suites.
