SwiftUI is Apple's declarative UI framework, introduced in 2019, for building user interfaces across iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS using the Swift language. Instead of manually managing view states imperatively, developers describe what the UI should look like for a given state and SwiftUI handles updates automatically, often paired with live previews in Xcode. It's used by Apple platform developers to build interfaces faster with less boilerplate compared to older UIKit/AppKit approaches.
