React Query, now rebranded as TanStack Query, is an open-source library for fetching, caching, synchronizing, and updating server state in React (and other framework) applications. It handles common data-fetching concerns like caching, background refetching, pagination, and request deduplication, reducing the amount of boilerplate code developers need to manage API calls manually.
