The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a self-report personality questionnaire that categorizes individuals into one of 16 personality types based on four dichotomies: introversion/extraversion, sensing/intuition, thinking/feeling, and judging/perceiving. Developed by Isabel Briggs Myers and her mother Katharine Cook Briggs from Carl Jung's theories, it is widely used in corporate training, career counseling, and team-building despite mixed scientific support for its validity.
