ENEM (Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio) is Brazil's national high school exam, used both to assess secondary education quality and, since 2009, as the primary standardized test for admission to Brazilian public and many private universities. Millions of students take it annually, and scores also grant access to scholarship and student-loan programs like ProUni and FIES.
