Elastix is an open-source unified communications server software that combines IP PBX, email, instant messaging, fax, and collaboration functionality, built largely on top of Asterisk. IT administrators and telecom professionals use it to deploy and manage voice-over-IP (VoIP) phone systems and call centers for small and medium businesses. It provides a web-based interface for configuring extensions, call routing, and reporting.
