CSS Sources refers to the different ways stylesheets can be applied to an HTML document: inline styles (within an element's style attribute), internal styles (within a <style> tag in the document head), and external stylesheets (linked via a separate .css file). Developers choose among these methods based on reusability and maintainability needs, with external stylesheets generally preferred for larger sites since they can be cached and shared across pages.
