AWS Trusted Advisor is an automated tool that inspects a customer's AWS environment and provides recommendations across cost optimization, performance, security, fault tolerance, and service limits. Cloud engineers and FinOps teams use it to identify unused resources, security misconfigurations, or opportunities to reduce spend, with the depth of checks depending on the customer's AWS Support Plan. It's a common starting point for AWS well-architected reviews.
