# Pennsylvania New Roles Fall to 147 This Week, Down 25% From 197

[Pennsylvania](https://career.thegoodapps.co/jobs/in/pennsylvania) opened 147 new roles this week on the employer career sites Career App tracks, down 50 from 197 a week earlier, or 25%. New roles across every state fell to 7,436 from 8,065, down 629, or 7.8%. Pennsylvania's decline ran about three times that rate.

Illinois fell hardest in percentage terms among the 12 states above, down 41%. Georgia rose most, up 36%. Pennsylvania's 25% decline runs between New York's 26% and Texas's 21%.
