# Indiana New Roles Up 47% This Week to 172, Against a 22% Fall Across Every State

Indiana opened 172 new roles this week, up from 117 the prior week, on the employer career sites Career App tracks. That is 55 more roles, or 47%. New roles across every state fell to 6,931 from 8,895 over the same stretch, down 22%.

Indiana recorded 172 new roles, ninth among the 12 states with 10 or more new roles this week. The prior week's count was 117. Pennsylvania, with 162 new roles, sat below Indiana this week after posting 205 the week before.

## How does Indiana's change compare with every other state?

Indiana's 47% rise is the largest among the 12 states below. Wisconsin added 43 roles, moving from 127 to 170, up 34%. North Carolina added 3, from 167 to 170. Massachusetts held at 207 both weeks. The other eight states each posted fewer new roles than the week before.
