# Career App Passes Its 1,000th Employer

AUSTIN, Texas, October 20, 2026, [Career App](https://career.thegoodapps.co/) has passed its 1,000th employer. The exact count as of today is 1,090 distinct employers. The counters cover the employer careers sites Career App crawls plus roles posted on the site directly, so they describe the boards the site tracks rather than the whole US market.

An employer counts once it has had at least one US job listing on Career App, whether the crawler read that listing from the company's own careers site or the company posted it here itself. The counter is cumulative. A role that has since closed still counts, so 1,090 is not a measure of who is hiring today.

The previous reading was 771 [employers](https://career.thegoodapps.co/organizations) on October 19, one day earlier. That is 319 employers added in a day.

Career App has indexed 239,681 distinct US job listings since launch and reads 1,467 employers' careers sites, every board [the crawler](https://career.thegoodapps.co/bot) has been pointed at whose employer is identified and who has not asked to be removed. Of those listings, 35,607 carried a pay figure the employer published on the listing itself, a salary or a range, never an estimate.

Pay is posted on 18,308 of those open roles, and the median is $121,876, taken from the pay ranges employers published on their listings and annualized to USD. The [occupations index](https://career.thegoodapps.co/occupations) holds 292 occupations with at least five roles open right now, a snapshot that can fall as roles close.
