XTAR, LLC is a US-based commercial satellite communications company founded in 2001 and headquartered in Leesburg, Virginia. It provides military satellite communications (MILSATCOM) capacity in X-band, mil-Ka, and UHF frequencies, plus synthetic aperture radar earth-observation services, to the U.S. Department of Defense, NATO allies, and partner nations, operating in partnership with Spain's government satellite operator Hisdesat.
