## What We Do

The Trusted Computing Group is a not-for-profit industry consortium, formed in 2003 as successor to the Trusted Computing Platform Alliance, that develops and publishes open standards for hardware-based trusted computing security. Its best-known work is the Trusted Platform Module (TPM), a security chip widely used in PCs and mobile devices to enable hardware-rooted security features.
