True Religion is an American premium denim and apparel brand founded in 2002 by Jeff Lubell and Kym Gold, known for its signature horseshoe-stitched back pockets. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in both 2017 and 2020 amid declining premium-denim demand and heavy debt, but has since rebounded, reaching roughly $235 million in sales by 2021.
