The Manitowoc Company, Inc. is an American manufacturer of cranes, including crawler cranes, tower cranes, and mobile/boom-truck cranes, sold under brands such as Grove, National Crane, Potain, and Shuttlelift. Founded in 1902 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, it formerly also made foodservice equipment (divested as Welbilt) and marine vessels (sold to Fincantieri in 2008) before focusing solely on cranes.
