The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL) is a coffeehouse and tea chain founded in 1963 in Los Angeles by Herbert and Mona Hyman, credited with inventing the Ice Blended beverage in 1987. It operates over 1,000 stores across roughly two dozen countries and has been owned since 2019 by the Philippines-based Jollibee Group.
