Synchrony Financial is an American consumer financial services company that provides private-label and co-branded credit cards, promotional financing, and installment lending in partnership with major retailers such as Amazon, Lowe's, Walgreens, and Sam's Club. It was spun off from General Electric (GE Capital) in 2014 and operates Synchrony Bank and the CareCredit medical/veterinary financing card.
