## What We Do

SAIF is Oregon's not-for-profit, state-chartered workers' compensation insurance company, created by the Oregon Legislative Assembly in 1914 and reorganized in 1980 as the nation's first public corporation specializing in workers' compensation insurance. It insures more than 54,000 Oregon employers, operates offices throughout the state, and returns dividends to policyholders.
