Simulia is a brand of the French software company Dassault Systèmes that provides simulation and finite element analysis (FEA) software, including the Abaqus suite, used for structural, fluid dynamics, and multiphysics engineering simulation. It traces its roots to Hibbitt, Karlsson & Sorensen (later Abaqus Inc.), which Dassault Systèmes acquired in 2005 and whose U.S. corporate entity, Dassault Systèmes Simulia Corp., is based in Providence, Rhode Island.
