## What We Do

Rentrak is a theatrical box-office measurement and entertainment analytics brand, originally built from Entertainment Data Inc. and later Rentrak Corporation, which was acquired by Comscore in 2016. In May 2026, private-equity firm Advaya Capital bought Comscore's Movies division and relaunched it under the revived Rentrak name, providing box-office data from tens of thousands of theaters worldwide.
