P&L Transportation Incorporated is a short-line railroad holding company headquartered in Paducah, Kentucky, formed in 1995 (as Four Rivers Transportation, renamed in 2012) by officers of the Paducah & Louisville Railway together with CSX Transportation. It owns and operates several regional freight railroads, including the Paducah & Louisville Railway, Appalachian & Ohio Railroad, and Evansville Western Railway.
