OfficeMax was an independent American office-supply retail chain founded in Cleveland, Ohio in 1988. It merged with Office Depot in 2013 and today survives as a subsidiary retail brand of The ODP Corporation, with many former OfficeMax stores having since been rebranded as Office Depot.
