## What We Do

Next Adventure is an outdoor sports retailer founded in 1997 in Portland, Oregon, selling new and used gear for kayaking, climbing, skiing, camping, and other outdoor activities. Founders Deek Heykamp and Bryan Knudsen announced plans to close the store in 2025, briefly sold it to local investors, and then resumed ownership themselves in mid-2026, keeping the business open.
