## What We Do

Nevada Gold Mines is a joint venture formed on July 1, 2019 between Barrick Gold (61.5% owner and operator) and Newmont (38.5% owner) that combines the companies' gold mining operations across northern Nevada, including the Goldstrike, Cortez, and Turquoise Ridge complexes. It is one of the largest gold-producing mining operations in the world, employing roughly 7,000 people.
