JSTOR is a digital library, founded in 1995, that provides access to millions of academic journal articles, books, and primary source materials across dozens of disciplines to thousands of universities, libraries, and research institutions worldwide. It operates as a service of the nonprofit organization ITHAKA, with which it merged in 2009.
