## What We Do

Init Records is an independent American record label founded in January 2001 in Mankato, Minnesota by Steven Williams, and now based in Minneapolis. Operated as essentially a one-person enterprise, it releases predominantly punk, metal, experimental, and post-rock music with an emphasis on DIY ethics and sustainable packaging. Artists released on the label have included Season to Risk, The Atlas Moth, and Buried Inside.
