Heil Environmental Industries, commonly known as Heil, is a manufacturer of refuse and recycling collection truck bodies founded in 1901 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It has long been a leading supplier of garbage truck equipment, including to the New York City Department of Sanitation, the world's largest waste collection agency. Today it operates as a brand within Terex Corporation's Environmental Solutions Group, based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with manufacturing in Fort Payne, Alabama.
