Heaven Hill is the largest independent, family-owned producer and marketer of distilled spirits in the United States, founded in 1935 by the Shapira family in Bardstown, Kentucky. Its brand portfolio includes Evan Williams, Elijah Craig, Larceny, and Rittenhouse Rye bourbons/whiskeys, along with Black Velvet Canadian whisky and other spirits brands. Its distillery and bourbon heritage center remain in Bardstown/Nelson County, Kentucky, while corporate offices are now based in Louisville.
