Hawthorne Books & Literary Arts is an independent publisher founded in 2001 in Portland, Oregon, specializing in literary fiction and creative nonfiction. In November 2025 it was acquired by Catapult Book Group and now continues operating as the fourth imprint of that publishing collective, with founder Rhonda Hughes remaining as a contributing editor.
