Gnar Tapes is an independent record label founded in 2008 by Erik Gage in Portland, Oregon, later relocating to Los Angeles in 2014. Originally known for limited-run cassette releases tied to DIY tape-trading culture, it expanded into vinyl, CD, and digital releases and acquired the back catalogue of Marriage Records in 2015.
