Flying Dog Brewery is an American craft brewery founded in 1990, known for its distinctive Ralph Steadman-illustrated beer labels and ties to writer Hunter S. Thompson. Once the largest brewery in Maryland, it was acquired by F.X. Matt Brewing Company (maker of Saranac) in 2023, which relocated most of its production to New York.
