## What We Do

Deseret Industries is a nonprofit thrift-store and job-training program operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, established in 1938 during the Great Depression. It operates dozens of thrift stores selling donated and new goods while providing job-skills training and employment assistance to people facing barriers to employment.
