Cub (formerly Cub Foods) is an American supermarket chain founded in 1968 in Stillwater, Minnesota, credited as one of the first discount grocery store formats in the U.S. It operates roughly 100 stores in Minnesota and Illinois and has been owned by United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) since UNFI's 2018 acquisition of former parent SuperValu.
