Cox Models is an American hobby-industry brand known for miniature internal-combustion model engines and control-line/radio-control model vehicles. Founded in 1945 in California as the L. M. Cox Manufacturing Company, it passed through several owners (Leisure Dynamics, Cox Hobbies, Estes Industries, Hobbico) before being acquired in 2019 by MECOA, which now manufactures and sells Cox-branded engines and parts from Irwindale, California.
