## What We Do

Calpine Corporation is the largest generator of electricity from natural gas and geothermal energy in the United States, operating roughly 80 power plants totaling about 26,000 megawatts of capacity across 24 states, Canada, and Mexico. It owns 13 of the 15 geothermal plants at The Geysers in California and was acquired by Constellation Energy in a deal completed in January 2026.
