Byline Bank is a Chicago-based commercial bank tracing to a 1978 predecessor (Metropolitan Bank Group), recapitalized and rebranded as Byline Bank in 2013. It is the primary banking subsidiary of publicly traded Byline Bancorp, Inc. (NYSE: BY) and is one of the largest SBA 7(a) lenders in the country, having grown through mergers including Inland Bank (2023) and First Security Bank (2025).
