Butterball LLC is one of the largest producers of turkey products in the United States, selling over a billion pounds of turkey annually under the Butterball brand, which dates to 1940. The company is a joint venture between Seaboard Corporation and Maxwell Farms, formed in 2006 when Carolina Turkeys acquired ConAgra's Butterball business.
