Brooks Brothers is America's oldest surviving retailer of men's clothing, founded in 1818 in New York City and known for suits, dress shirts, and its "Golden Fleece" branding. After filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2020, it was acquired by Authentic Brands Group/SPARC Group and is now owned by Catalyst Brands, formed from the merger of SPARC Group and JCPenney's parent company.
