Brookfield Asset Management is a global alternative asset manager overseeing more than a trillion dollars in assets across renewable power, infrastructure, private equity, real estate, and credit. Spun off from Brookfield Corporation (which retains about 73% ownership) in December 2022, it relocated its head office from Toronto to New York City in late 2024.
