Borden Dairy Company is an American dairy processor and distributor headquartered in Dallas, Texas, producing milk, cream, buttermilk, and related dairy products distributed across roughly a dozen U.S. states. Descended from the historic Borden dairy business (dating to the 1857 Borden company and its Elsie the Cow brand), it was reorganized after a 2020 Chapter 11 bankruptcy and is now owned by New Dairy Opco LLC, a group led by former Dean Foods CEO Gregg Engles and KKR.
