Asthmatic Kitty is an independent record label founded in 1999 by Sufjan Stevens and Lowell Brams, named after a stray cat with feline asthma that Brams adopted. The label releases indie folk, experimental, and instrumental music, including much of Sufjan Stevens' catalog, and has operated out of locations including Lander, Wyoming, Atlanta, Georgia, and Brooklyn, New York.
