ArmaLite is an American firearms manufacturer best known for developing the AR-10 and AR-15 rifle platforms, the latter of which became the basis for the U.S. military's M16 rifle. Founded in 1954, it has been owned since 2013 by Strategic Armory Corps and is now headquartered in Bryan, Texas.
